Though I sadly don't have the ability to bring an entire video game to life on my own, I do enjoy drawing out concepts I come up with. This is a sampling of various concepts I drew out for an open-world sandbox game in which you play as a tiny mouse character. You can explore the world, interact with items around you, customize your character using materials from the world, and even shape other inhabitant's personalities by how you interact with them.
I presented this concept at the 2014 Heartland Gaming Expo and received first place in the conceptual art category. I also received lots of positive feedback from the attendees, and many wanted to know when the game might start development. Though I do not currently have the tools to bring this project to life, it would be neat to see it grow into a reality one day.
